Never make you boss look bad. This sentence may sound easy or even unnecessary but believe me there are people out there you want to see fail or for that matter end up in a dumpster. Now what do I mean by this, well, never by your actions allow your work, directly or indirectly make the boss look bad. If something you do makes them look bad, it will reflect on you just as badly or even worse because your boss is going to use you as a scapegoat.

In most cases people are stuck working for a mindless corporate lackey who only thinks of the company, him or herself, or how they can get ahead. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about it, other than to turn their greed against them.
