Quite often efficiency is confused with working hard. In reality efficiency is a tool that when properly used should allow you to work less. Although it is a broad term, there are many ways to become efficient such as being adaptive, being organized, or simply using common sense.

This is the most difficult concept to grasp. It is easy to say but to actually implement is not always going to be something that is easy. Sometimes there is no easy way but there are always shortcuts or maybe an easier way than the way you are currently doing it. It may only save you, say for arguments sake, one second. Well if you happen to be doing that task a thousand times a day, that’s a thousand seconds you can save, which works out to sixteen and a half minutes. You may say “big deal” but that works out to 82 minutes a week or over 3700 minutes a year (62 hours). That is precious time and you must learn to grasp onto it.
